Q. What is IPSI really all about?
A. This week is about You! To get the most from this program, please try to arrange for someone to cover for you so you aren't bothered with phone calls and problems back at the office. You will be encouraged to the extent possible to leave the work behind this week.
Q. Where the heck is Effingham?
A.The Keller Conference Center is located at the Junction of I-70 and 57 in Effingham. For directions and additional information about Keller's and the surrounding area, visit the website, www.kellerconventioncenter.com.
Q. Where should I stay?
A. Make lodging arrangements early and be sure to indicate that you are attending IPSI at the Keller Conference Center. The Holiday Inn has been recently remodeled and is very nice. Additional information about lodging is available on the website.
Q.What should I wear?
A. Dress is casual for all sessions with the exception of the awards banquet on Thursday where business attire is encouraged. Classrooms are always cold so please plan accordingly.
Q.What about the food?
A. Good question. The food at Keller's is great and there is plenty of it. Many of the meals, including a full hot breakfast are included in the registration fee. There will be a "hearty" snack served during the late break on Monday afternoon due to the long schedule. You will be on your own for dinner on Monday and Wednesday evenings and lunch on Wednesday and Friday. There are plenty of good places to eat near by.
Q.What about a special diet?
Q. My boss would like to come to the banquet. Do I need to let someone know?
A. Banquet guests are welcome, and you can make those arrangements after you arrive. Feel free to invite spouses, significant others and bosses to attend the banquet.
